SLOW FASHION

At Latch we want to promote responsible consumption, advocating the philosophy known as "Slow Fashion". We want consumers to be aware of the impact that fast fashion consumption has on the environment, the depletion of resources and the impact of the textile industry on society, and we believe that fast fashion is the ethical choice.

In recent years the fashion industry has become the second most polluting industry on the planet, 20% of the waste generated on the planet comes from the textile industry.

Promoting responsible consumption means supporting companies with small staffs and which manufacture locally. Betting on recycling and on acquiring quality and sustainable products, giving them more life and making the most of the resources with which they were made.

It is very important to choose the clothes you are going to buy, informing you about the origin of the materials, how they have been manufactured, by which company and under which conditions.
